So much as happened since my last blog post! Sean and I got married on 2/17 in St. Pete, Florida, we went on our honeymoon to Peru, Ecuador, and two island in the Galapagos, and yesterday we brought home our baby boy ❤ Boss is 9 weeks old, a yellow English Lab, and I think he is the perfect puppy for us. He has been so happy ever since we got home last night, and I feel like he’s been our puppy forever. As I am writing this, he is napping right next to me (snoring) after a big day at the beach, visitors, and his first bath.
He is already so comfortable here and it makes my heart so happy. Of course the first morning he woke up here we made treats together (yes, I talk about my fur babies as if they are human), and he loved these. My goal is to make all of his treats vs purchasing them, and of course always vegan!
-1 Cup pumpkin puree
-1/4 Cup smooth peanut butter
-1/4 Cup coconut milk
-3 Cups rolled oats
-In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat pumpkin puree, peanut butter, & milk on medium – high heat until well combined, about 1 – 2 minutes. Gradually add 2 1/2 Cups oats at low speed, just until incorporated *or you can just using a mixing bowl & mix it yourself*
-Roll mixture into 1 1/4 ” balls, forming about 20. *I made way more than 20 because he is so little I made the balls as small as possible* Add remaining 1/2 Cup oats, mix well
-Cover & place in the refrigerator until firm, 1 hour
